Our community

Originally launched as a small, one-person-run online support group, we have grown into a thriving community with over 10,000 members.

We understand it’s not always easy to open up about personal challenges, especially in person. That’s where our community support groups come in, providing offering a safe space to connect with others facing similar experiences, helping you feel less alone.

Here, you can share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with, knowing you’ll be understood. You even have the option to post anonymously, giving you full control over how you express yourself and seek support.

Each post, whether public or anonymous, is carefully monitored and approved by a dedicated team member, ensuring the group remains a safe and supportive environment for all.

In addition to the support you’ll find here, we regularly share opportunities to get involved in charity events. These are great ways to contribute to meaningful causes, meet others in the community, and take part in activities that make a real difference.

Many members of our community are still learning. Some may have concerns at first and you may see a lot of worried posts, but over time these often evolve into more positive and uplifting messages.

Joining our community is completely free! You can sign up through our public community group on HealthUnlocked or join our private group on Facebook.

Before you get started, please take a moment to review our Code of Conduct.

Please note, you must be at least 18 years old to register for HealthUnlocked. Our forums are available 24/7, so support is always there whenever you need it.

Medical Advice

The advice shared within our community is based solely on personal experiences. While our groups provide emotional support, they do not offer medical advice. We strongly encourage you to consult your GP or medical team if you need professional advice or before following any suggestions from other community members.

We look forward to welcoming you into our community!
